Regional structure

There are three levels within FireServiceRota: station, cluster, and region level. A region can contain one or more clusters, and within a cluster, one or more stations.

A typical user is only active at the station level, meaning they can only see their own station. It's also possible to make users active at the cluster or region level, giving the user access to all underlying stations. Within stations, they can do everything a local user (with the same rights) can. For example, a region administrator can easily add pagers, add/change/delete users, edit user details, and customize dashboards.

If a user has access to multiple clusters, they can see which stations they have access to after logging in. This also provides an at-a-glance overview of the current staffing levels within these stations.

When a station is open, you can easily switch between stations by selecting the arrow next to the station name.
