Create new user

To add a new member, you need supervisor privileges. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the 'Members' page via the 'Users' menu.
  2. Press the 'Add new member' button.
  3. The system gives you the option to first check if the person is already known to the system. This is useful because sometimes someone is already active within another department. To search, enter the email address of the existing FireServiceRota account in the 'Email' field.

Is there an account with the entered email address?

Press the blue button 'Add' to add the user to the current station/group.

 

Does an account not exist with the entered email address?

Continue filling in the data. Make sure to check in this screen whether the person should be plannable (thus is in active service) or not. If the person is already a user of FireServiceRota, but a member of another region, they will receive an email in which the invitation for the new station must be confirmed. Until then, the invited person will remain invisible in the new station.
